Dallas J. Janssen is a founding partner at Janssen Law, PLC. Dallas has been practicing in the areas of bankruptcy/debtor-creditor law, business law and litigation, corporate law, real estate law, probate law, estate planning, and wills for over 46 years.

Dallas was born in Sibley, Iowa, in 1954 and was raised on a farm near Sheldon, Iowa. He received his undergraduate education at Drake University, graduating Magna Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Arts degree in 1976. He received his Juris Doctorate from Drake University Law School in 1979. Dallas was admitted to the Iowa State Bar Association in 1979. Dallas has been a featured speaker on various topics regarding bankruptcy and taxation law.

Dena Gerhart is originally from New Virginia, IA. As a graduate from a strong farm community, Dena carries those skills into being a legal assistant who graduated from DMACC’s Paralegal program in 2022. Dena has continued to build on those skills of hard work, empathy, shooting straight from the hip, and overcoming obstacles earlier on in life.

She has just finished her Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from Drake University and has goals to attend Law School in the near future. Dena also serves her community by sitting on the Board of Executives for Raccoon Valley Little League and various other positions in community boards.
